Snapshot is labeled for use on more than 635 landscape ornamentals, more than any other granular preemergence herbicide, according to the company. It can be applied in early spring prior to germination of target weeds, in late summer to early fall or immediately after cultivation. The granular formulation bonds tightly with soil particles, and the low water solubility holds Snapshot within the application zone.
