Based on the success of the Vanguard™ BIG BLOCK™, this new engine features forged rods, crank, cast valve covers and a dynamically balanced flywheel. Like the BIG BLOCK™, it has a beefy 5-in. Donaldson air cleaner.
The Vanguard™ 810CC engine is made in the USA using the Briggs & Stratton Vanguard™ Certified Production Process. Hand-built by Master Service Technicians, all engine assembly information is data logged giving the engine a particular “DNA.” Finally, all engines are dynamometer certified prior to release in the market.
