Curtis Industries released the Fast-Cast 600 spreader, designed to fit the bed length and weight restrictions of most UTVs.

The Fast-Cast 600 is ideal for bagged ice melt and rock salt on applications such as sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and bike paths, according to the company. It can also be used with a 50/50 salt and sand mixture with the use of Curtis’ optional vibrator kit.

It features stainless steel construction, an electric-drive 4-inch-diameter continuous auger and few moving parts for minimum maintenance and reduced downtime. The hopper has 52-degree sides for continuous material flow. Adjustable deflectors provide precise material spreading width, and the flip-up spreader chute allows for trailer towing or storage on any flat surface.

The spreader comes standard with tie downs and a spinner speed control to fine-tune spreading width. The spreader’s dimensions are 56 inches by 33 inches by 19 inches. It provides a 0.25-cubic-yard capacity. An optional extension kit is available to increase overall capacity, and an optional vibrator kit is available to prevent material clumping.
