Control Solutions (CSI), the parent company of Quali-Pro, hired Matt Shipp as its new vice president of marketing.

In his role, Shipp, who will be based out of Pasadena, Texas, will be responsible for the marketing, product development and regulatory groups. He brings almost 20 years of industry experience to CSI.

Shipp began his career as a research and development scientist for Monsanto, with responsibilities in product development and technical training for sales and marketing. Later Shipp assumed a global role in product development, technical service and product registrations for Evonik Goldschmidt and as product manager for Wilbur-Ellis Corp. Most recently, he was business director for North America at Lamberti USA.

Shipp holds a B.S. degree in agronomy and an M.S. degree in weed science.
